spent a day at the botanical gardens yesterday with chang, and before that, we had a picnic! haha it was fun really because i havn't had a picnic in ages, and before that, i asked chang to bring his picnic mat because i didn't want to carry mine on top of all the food but my mom kept insisting that our picnic mats the the best so she made me bring 2 along.
haha after like 5 minutes of walking after my mom dropped me off, i was complaining like poop! (chang had all the bags and the big tumbler and everything and i was emptyhanded) joel is seriously a pro map reader, when we stopped in front of the maps, i would jst sit down and stare at him, waiting for him to tell us where to go. haha so we ended up picnicing in front of the stage thingy at botanicals and um i chose a shadey spot. then these stupid grass mower people started mowing the grass around us! and like our part wasn't mowed, but we just sat there for a while wondering if they'll ever ask us to move because they wanted to mow the grass!
oooh, we walked into the rainforest, it was nice and quiet but there were so many disgusting creeepy things and lucky we didn't see any monkeys. monkeys are disgusting!
ohh, we saw leon there too and this big group of ahbeng friends/cousins. kiddingg! we wanted to go to swan lake, like where leon was but at that time we didn't know. so i got tired again and we sat down at some bench with shelters then it started to rain! haha it was quite nice, then lighting came, and im like omgoshomgosh we're gonna dieeeee. then joel was like, i think lighting will strike those places with alot of water. then we're both like 'LEON!'
and joel was so lame okay, haha he's always calling leon bird nose and whatever nose and stuff right, i was like 'oh no, hahahahaha leon's gonna die' then joel was like 'no leon has a running nose, he can run away' haha diao!
ok so it rained and rained and rained and rained and this guy was sitting like way opposite us. me and chang were just like sitting there and having fun while he was kinda stranded at the other side, bored and alone.

we missed our sunset again for the third time, because it started raining when the sun was going down, God really does have a grudge against me, chang and sunsets haha.
anyways, when the rain stopped and we decided to walk off, it was already about 7++ pm and totally dark with like creepy bugs crying and joel used his pro boy scout map reading skills to navigate us back. boyscouttt!
